The client is an outdoor enthusiast, and he hopes to use the natural environment without harming environmental elements with high-impact construction methods.
The designer explained: “Considering that the cantilever is a major part of the design plan, typical design plans require enough steel bars to produce structural integrity, so the main challenge is to use steel wisely when designing the frame to achieve economic feasibility.” In addition, , The design was questioned by the client, and the workers on the site must be trained to accurately perform the construction. ”
The design includes Passive cooling Technology and renewable energy to cope with the hot and dry climate in the region. The designer placed the living areas in the north and east to introduce natural light, but included private areas in the west and south to reduce the increase in heat throughout the day. There is also a pergola outside the south window, which can provide shade.
The double-height lobby is protected by the summer courtyard in the north and the winter courtyard in the south for stacking ventilation, while the north side of the residence is double-glazed Low radiation The coating is used for heat resistance to avoid glare and subsequent heat increase. On the south side, the designer added a smaller number of windows to further prevent heat increase.
Various plants and Vertical gardenAnd the water courtyard on the north side creates a cool microclimate and adds air purification elements for residents. The solar hot water system installed on the roof provides hot water for the family, and the rainwater collection system is used to irrigate the front and rear lawns.
