US-based search engine giant Google has announced that it is rolling out continuous scrolling search on its mobile platform which will retire the page-based user interface.

This new search experience is gradually starting to appear for most mobile English searches in the US.

“Although you can often find what you are looking for in the first few results, sometimes you want to continue searching. In fact, most people who want additional information tend to browse up to four pages of search results. With this Update, this can now be done seamlessly, by browsing through several different results, before having to click the “See More” button, the company said in a statement.

Now, at the bottom of the result set, the search engine will automatically load the next page, allowing users to scroll constantly until they find the exact website they’re looking for.

“Scrolling through a wide range of results may show you many options you didn’t think of, like no-carving pumpkin decor ideas for Halloween, pumpkin seed recipes that make your pumpkins worth carving and more ideas on how to make the most of your ‘your own’ pumpkin.” The company added.

Meanwhile, earlier this week Google announced the formation of a major “cybersecurity task force” to support the security and digital transformation of governments, critical infrastructure, enterprises and small businesses, with hacking incidents increasing between countries.

The Google Cybersecurity team has already formulated a Security and Resiliency Framework that provides a roadmap for a comprehensive security management program.
