Fast Moving Consumer Goods(FMCG) Major Hindustan Unilever Ltd announced Rohit Jawa will be the new Managing Director and CEO of the company from June 27, 2023. The present managing director and CEO Sanjiv Mehta will retire after ten years at the helm.

Rohit Jawa will join as CEO designate and all-time director for HUL from April 1, 2023, and will also take over as the president of Unilever South Asia. He will join the Unilever Leadership Executive (ULE) on April 1, 2023.

Rohit Jawa is presently the Chief of Transformation for Unilever in London since January 2022. Jawa started as a management trainee in 1998 and has worked for the company across India, South East Asia and North Asia.
