Indian Institute of Technology, Madras first round of campus placements for the 2021-22 academic year has set a new record. A total of 176 presentations were submitted by 34 companies during the first session of the first day. This is higher than any previous academic year. During the 2020-21 academic year, 123 presentations were submitted by 22 companies at the end of the first session

By the end of the first session on the first day, 11 international bids had been received from four companies.

Furthermore, during the current academic year 2021-22, IIT Madras students received 231 PPOs. Thus, a total of 407 job offers had been received by the end of Session 1.1.

The main recruits

Key recruiters for this year’s first cycle include Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Bain and Company, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Boston Consulting Group, JP Morgan Chase & Co, and McKinsey. The first phase of placements is expected to run until December 10, 2021.

The recruitment team at the Institute has worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible job opportunities for our students.
