The weekly positivity rate was 0.62 percent, and it has stayed below 1 percent for the last 34 days. The daily positivity rate, at 0.57 percent, has remained below 2 percent over the last 75 days and less than 3 percent over 110 days.
In addition to UP, new cases of Omicron from Delhi and Rajasthan have also been reported.
Mild or no symptoms
According to UP government surveillance official, Vikasendu Agrawal, both Omicron patients were fully vaccinated and remained asymptomatic.
