Delhi-Patna Jati Shakti Superfast Special: Indian Railways has introduced a special train 01684/01683 Anand Vihar – Patna – Anand Vihar Terminal Jati Shakti Special High Speed Train for the convenience of railway passengers as well as to remove the extra rush of passengers during this festive season. Delhi – Patna Jati Shakti Superfast Special is working with 20 new Economy Class 3AC vehicles. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Railways, Train No. 01684 Anand Vihar – Patna Intersection Special Jati Shakti High Speed Travel will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal Railway Station at 11.10 pm on October 29, 2021, October 31, 2021, November 02, 2021, 05 November 2021, and November 07, 2021 to reach Patna Junction at 03.45 pm the next day.
Train No. 01683 Patna Junction – Anand Vihar Station Jati Shakti High Speed Private Station, in the return direction, will depart from Patna Junction Railway Station at 05.45 PM on October 30, 2021, November 1, 2021, November 3, 2021 and November 06, 2021 , and November 8, 2021 to arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal Railway Station at 09.50 am the following day. On the way in both directions, the train will stop at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Varanasi, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhya Junction and Danapur Train Stations.
According to a PTI report, the train’s design and shape have been improved by using illuminated seat numbers as well as fire-resistant materials. Besides, each bus has up to 83 berths, 11 more than those of the current three-tier air-conditioned buses. The newly designed bus features comfortable, ergonomically designed climbing ladders for the middle and upper berths, individual air vents and reading lights, as well as USB charging sockets for all passengers. These buses are also equipped with stylish bottle holders and foldable snack tables. These train coaches have been made to fit Diviang. The toilets on these buses are given a modern and elegant look that also provides convenient amenities for passengers. Indian Railways has said that each bus costs around Rs 2.76 crore and is suitable for running at a speed of 160 km per hour.
