In another attack targeting civilians in Kashmir, terrorists opened fire on non-local workers in Kulgam district, killing two and wounding one. Up to 11 civilians were killed in terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir this month.
“Terrorists fired indiscriminately at non-local workers in Wanboh district of Kulgam. In this terrorist incident, two non-local people were killed and another was injured. Jammu and Kashmir police said the police and security forces cordoned off the area.
The killings come a day after two non-local people – a street vendor and a carpenter – from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh respectively, were killed by unknown terrorists in Srinagar and Pulwama districts.
Earlier this month, two teachers named Supinder Kour and Deepak Chand, prominent Kashmiri Pandit and owner of the famous Srinagar pharmacy Makhan Lal Bindroo, and ‘chaat’ seller Virendra Paswan from Bihar were among the dead at the hands of the terrorists.
