The industry is re-emerging and employees are gradually returning to their offices after spending more than 18 months in the work-from-home model.

With Covid-19 regulations relaxed, restrictions lifted and employees fully vaccinated, businesses across the state plan to resume work from the office by the beginning of next year, the statement said.

She said the majority of IT companies prefer a mixed business model with a mix of employees working from home and the office simultaneously.

Parks have kept their efficiency rate high even in times of Covid by adding several companies to their catalog. The statement said InfoPark has welcomed more than 75 new companies.

Techtaliya, Hexawhale, Invenics Software Services-India, Airpay, Cavalier, Mitsogo and Orthofx are some of the companies that have started operations in several IT parks in the state. Besides these fully operating companies, several others such as Experion, Zellis HR-India and Inspired Software Development have also expanded their parks workspace.

Infopark-Kochi has launched app-based bike services on campus for healthy travel around the park’s wide trails.

Officials said the parks’ operation will depend on Covid regulations.

The IT parks expect the return of employees to help revive the local economy with increased demand for rental housing facilities and daily wage workers.
