Aryan Khan has to hand over his passport and is banned from speaking about the case publicly.

The Bombay High Court on Friday said that Aryan Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, will be released on personal bail of one lakh rupees with one or two guarantees of the same amount. Judge N.W. Sambre signed a copy of the five-page executive order on Friday afternoon. This would help Aryan Khan’s advocates secure his release from Arthur Road Jail in central Mumbai, where he is being deposited, by evening. Aryan Khan’s lawyers will now take a certified copy of the High Commission’s order to the Special Court hearing cases related to the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS), along with the required documents and guarantees.

After verification, the release papers will be issued by the Special Court which will be delivered to Arthur Road Jail to secure Aryan Khan’s release. In its order, the Supreme Court imposed 14 conditions on Aryan Khan and co-defendants Arbaaz Merchant and Monmon Damisha, who were also released on bail. One court in Justice NW Sambre on Thursday granted bail to Aryan Khan, 25 days after he was arrested during a drug raid on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. The Supreme Court said it would file a copy of its order on Friday.

In all of the at least 14 conditions that have been imposed on Ariane’s bail:

  • Each applicant must execute PR bonds of 1 lakh rupees with one or more guarantees of the same amount.
  • They may not indulge in any activities similar to the activities on the basis of which the said record was registered.
  • The accused may not leave the country without the prior permission of
  • The accused will have to immediately hand over the passport to the Special Court.
  • They will not try to influence witnesses.
  • The accused may not make any statement pending before the inventory issue in any form of the media.
  • They will attend National Commercial Bank office in Mumbai every Friday between 11am and 2pm to celebrate their presence.
  • If they had to travel outside Mumbai, they would give their itinerary to the investigating officer.
  • In case of violation of any of the conditions, NCB has the right to apply directly to the special judge to cancel the guarantee.

Once the Supreme Court gives a copy of Aryan Khan’s bail order, his lawyer will have to transfer it to a special court that hears NDPS cases along with other necessary documents, such as guarantees. The Special Court will then issue release papers, which must be submitted to the prison director by 6pm to secure his release this evening. Should there be any delay in the procedure, Aryan Khan will have to spend another night at Arthur Road Jail in central Mumbai, where he is currently being held, and could be released on Saturday. One court in Justice NW Sambre on Thursday granted bail to Aryan Khan, 25 days after he was arrested during a drug raid on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. The Supreme Court also released on bail the accused, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and model Monmon Damisha. The Supreme Court said it would file a copy of its order on Friday.
