Deputy Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Aaron Halder, visited the residence of Narcotics Enforcement Bureau officer Sameer Wankedi on Sunday who is facing allegations of falsification of caste documents for entering the Indian Revenue Services (IRS) through the sub-committee stake. The wife of the director of the National Central Bank, Kranti Redkar Wankedi, indicated that the purpose of the visit was to verify some of the original documents.

“He (Arun Haldar) came here to see some of the original documents. Kranti Redkar Wankidi was quoted by ANI news agency as saying, “An investigation will now be launched against the people who were making allegations against us.

The fraud allegation against Wankedi by Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik came in the wake of the arrest of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan in a drug seizure case in Mumbai.

Malik alleged that Wankhede ran a racketeering operation in an anti-drug raid uniform, converted to Islam and later forged caste documents to enter civil services through a reserved Schedule Caste quota.

Via Twitter, the minister posted a photo of Wankidi and his first wife Shabana Qureshi, and also posted a copy of the couple’s “Nakah Nama”, hinting that Wankidi married according to Islamic law, and therefore he is a Muslim.

I want to make it clear that the case that I expose to Samir Daoud Wankidi is not related to his religion. I would like to point out the fraudulent means by which he obtained a caste certificate to get a job at the IRS and deprived a deserving person of scheduled caste of his future,” Malik wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, allegations of this nature were dismissed by Wankhede who asserted that this was done to discredit him while issuing caste certificates to several members of his family, implying that they all belonged to Mahar, a scheduled caste.

In her conversation with ANI Wankhede’s wife, she added that she fears for the safety of her home after the visit and appealed to provide security for the family. We will provide CCTV footage to the police. “The family must be provided with security,” she told ANI.

Earlier, Prabhakar Seal, the bodyguard of a key witness in Aryan Khan’s case, Kiran Gosavi, claimed in an affidavit that Wankidi and his associates had requested Rs 25 crore from actor Shahrukh Khan for the release of his son Aryan. He and another witness, Shekhar Campbell, also claimed that Samir and Enkhed had taken their signatures on ten blank pages and made them witnesses.
