The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Friday allowed full seating capacity in cinemas, theaters and complexes and also raised the number of people attending weddings and last rites from 100 to 200.

An order, issued by the DDMA, listing several permitted and restricted activities in light of Covid will go into effect from the night between October 31 and November 1. The order stated that owners of cinemas, theaters and complexes would be responsible for strict measures adhering to the Standard Operating Protocol (SOP) and official guidelines as well as Covid-appropriate behavior in the building.

It also allowed the reopening of all licensed weekly markets in the city from November 1.
