The Indian Meteorological Department said Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius on Saturday, which is higher than the average for the season, and is likely to receive light rain on Sunday. It added that Delhi recorded its maximum temperature at 35.5 degrees Celsius, three degrees higher than the season average.

Humidity was recorded at 55 percent. The Meteorological Department expected a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain on Sunday. IMD said maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 33 and 21 degrees Celsius, respectively. The city’s air quality was in the “poor” category with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 298, according to real-time data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

An air quality index between 0 and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 are considered “satisfactory”, 101 and 200 are “medium”, 201 and 300 are “poor”, 301 and 400 are “very poor”, and 401 and 500″ Intense”.
