Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding a series of high-level meetings at the COP26 Climate Summit in Glasgow, Scotland.
Earlier this month, Environment Minister Bhubandar Yadav announced that Prime Minister Modi would attend the United Nations climate summit in Glasgow, in a boost to global efforts to cut emissions further to combat global warming.
In Glasgow, PM Modi will join more than 120 Heads of Government and Heads of State at the World Leaders Summit (WLS) of the 26th Conference of the Parties (COP26) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Scotland. Event Campus (SEC) is a United Nations designated area for the World Summit.
Modi, who has had a string of entries at the G20 summit in Rome, will travel to Scotland from Italy on the second leg of his European tour, which began on Friday.

10:00 – 10:30 a.m.: Meet with community leaders/patterns
12:00 PM – 13:00 PM: Opening Ceremony of COP26
13:45 – 14:00: Bilateral talks with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson (10 minutes internal briefing before the meeting)
14:30 pm – 16:30 pm: High-level event with world leaders on “Action and Solidarity – The Defining Decade”
Prime Minister Modi will leave after making his statement to make a national statement
