A pregnant woman fell into a railway station here in Maharashtra while trying to get off a moving train, but was saved from slipping into the gap between the train and the platform by an alert Goan, an official said on Tuesday. He added that the accident occurred at Kalyan railway station on Monday.
It appears that the woman, her husband, and her son took the wrong long-distance train. Later, when the train began to move, the woman tried to get off the board, but fell on the platform in the process.
The official said a yard from the Rwandan Patriotic Front immediately rushed there and saved the woman from slipping into the gap between the moving train and the platform.
