Shimla, Oct 24: Three Mumbai tourists died in Kinnor district of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday due to snowfall and extremely bad weather, officials said. They said the dead were Deepak Narayan (58), Rajinder Pathak (65) and Ashok Madhukar (64).

Thirteen tourists – 12 from Mumbai and one from Delhi – were heading to Sangla in Kinnaur from Janglik in Shimla via Barua Kanda. Apurva Devgn, deputy commissioner of Kinnur, said three of them died while the remaining 10 were stranded. He said a police team has been sent to Parwa Kanda to rescue the stranded tourists.
