On Monday, Uttar Pradesh crossed the milestone by giving 12 crores of vaccine doses, of which 9 crores 32 lakhs were given the first dose, while 2 crores 68 lakhs were given the second dose. The state has also conducted more than 8 crore 15 lakh coronavirus tests so far. UP set an example again by becoming the first country to achieve the maximum number of vaccinations of Rs 12 crore in a short period of time.
According to the information, 17.53 percent of people eligible for Covid vaccination received the two doses, while 62.67 percent received at least one dose. Covid cases are declining in UP, and as a result of vaccination and rapid testing, not a single active case has been recorded in 42 counties of the state today. Only one active case was recorded in each district in 17 provinces.
The number of active cases has fallen to 123 in the state. A total of 1,39,654 samples were tested in the past 24 hours, only 9 new infected patients were found in five regions.
On the other hand, four people have left, and so far 1,687,015 people have recovered. The state’s positivity rate is now 0.01 percent, while the recovery rate is 98.7 percent.
In the past 24 hours, the provinces declared free of COVID were Amruha, Ayodhya, Bidun, Baghpat, Palia, Parabanki, Basti, Bahraish, Pinur, Chandoli, Chitrakot, Deoria, Ita, Itawah, Farukabad, Fatehpur, Gonda, Hammirpur , Hapur, Hardoi, Hathras, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Kasganj, Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur-Kheri, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Mirzapur, Mainpuri, Mau, Pratapgarh, Rampur, Santapir Nagar, Shamli, Shurravasti and Aon.
