With the 2021 NFL season arriving home, the AFC Playoffs race is ready.
At the top of the conference are the Chiefs sitting at 10-4, with the Patriots (9-4) and Titans (9-4), directly behind them. The race for seventh and final place in the playoffs is close, with five teams seated at 7-6, including the Colts, who will face the Patriots at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday night.

The Patriots have been one of the most exciting teams in the league, having won their last seven games. Their course was largely on the back of their defence, which ranks first in the league in scoring defense and third in total defence. But the attack played well, too.
Rookie Mac Jones completes more than 70 percent of his passes and has a 2:1 touch-to-intercept ratio, which helped New England record a seventh-best number three down and fifth best number four down in the NFL.

The Patriots face the Colts who have won four of the last five, thanks in large part to the play of Carson Wentz and Jonathan Taylor. Wentz has 22 touchdowns to just five interceptions for the season; Taylor, with 1,348 yards and 16 touchdowns, is the NFL MVP candidate. The Colts are third in scoring thanks to their power play on the ground.
This battle of strength vs strength characters to be competitive. It is a must for both teams as they try to improve their standings in the playoffs.
