Damian Lillard scored a season-high 43 points to lead Portland to victory over Charlotte 125-116 to lose seven consecutive games.

Lillard hit 12 of 19 from the floor and six of 11 from a three-point range, as well as adding eight assists, in one of his best performances of the season.

Ben McClemore added 28 points for Portland, hitting six of his eight first-half 3-pointers to help the Trail Blazers set a record with 16 first-half 3-pointers. They led 81-55 in the second half.

Lamelo Bull led the Hornets with 27 points in his first game after being in the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

The Blazers were 21 out of 47 from a three-point group overall.
