Does Kadarius Toney play on Monday nights?

Tony (ankle) came out of Week 6 early and missed Week 7, but after returning to training on Friday and Saturday, he became “doubtful” for Monday’s game in Kansas City. Giants coach Joe Judge said Thursday that Tony was making “good developmentBut he also said that about Kenny Goladay (knee), who hasn’t trained and has already been disqualified.

Tony caught fire before his injury, but it’s hard to tell if it’s just a result of WR’s other injuries in New York or if that trend will continue now that Darius Slayton is back and Stirling Shepherd (hamstring) may be back. With Golladay out, Toney is still likely to be on the court a lot, and if he is, that means he’s going to get chances.

Against the Chiefs’ defense that allows for 404 total yards and 29 points per game, Toney is well placed to produce at least flexible numbers. However, since it appears to be a legitimate match-time decision, it is hard to wait for it. If you do, make sure you have Slayton, Evan Engram, or Mecole Hardman ready to step into your flex spot should Toney walk out. If you’re in a deeper league, you might want to grab Dante Pettis, Byron Pringle or Demarcus Robinson.
