In Milwaukee’s first LaMelo Ball game, the Bucks’ seven-winning streak was under threat.
The Hornets held their biggest lead of 18 early in the second quarter, coming off 41-25 in the first quarter. However, the defending champion fought back and tied things up late in the third quarter.
What ensued was a back-and-forth battle with all nine encounters in the game and 13 changes to the front in the final 14:30 minutes of the match.
This led to a crazy final nine seconds including Miles Bridges’ attempt to win the game from outside the half-court.
In the end, the Bucks escaped putting on the Giannis Antetokounmpo clutch. Antetokounmpo’s near 40-point triple-double (12 rebounds, 9 assists), helped the team beat the LaMelo Ball’s 36-point display and nine assists.
The 127-125 victory is the eighth in a row for Milwaukee, all of which have come since the team returned to full health except for pole position Brock Lopez.
Their winning streak has included some close wins like this one over the Los Angeles Lakers but other than those, the Bucks completely dominated their opponents by winning these games with an average of Premier League margin of 13.3 points.
This streak helped them return to the top half of the Eastern standings after starting the season 6-8 during their first 14 games.
Next schedule bucks
Their current trajectory is still far from their best streak of winning streaks – 20 in the 1970-71 season and 18 in the 2019-20 season.
Having said that, given the team’s smooth schedule in December, this healthy team could go unbeaten over the course of December. Here’s a look at their upcoming games of the month:
|December 2||in the raptors|
|December 4||against the heat|
|December 6||vs Cavaliers|
|December 8||in the heat|
|December 10||in the Rockets|
|December 11||in the nicks|
|December 13||in the Celtics|
|December 15||vs Pacers|
|December 17||in New Orleans|
|December 18||vs Cavaliers|
|December 22||vs missiles|
|December 23||in the Mavericks|
|December 25||vs Celtics|

|December 30||in magic|
Among the upcoming 15 games, the Bucks will play five games against rebuilding franchises in Rockets, Magic, and Pelicans. Next, they face the Heat twice – the team will be without a big start in Bam Adebayo.
Then, given the team’s full health, there are very winnable matches against teams like the Pacers and Celtics (twice), the Raptors and Cavaliers (twice), the Mavericks and the Knicks.
